About Hydock Consulting Group
Hydock Consulting Group was formed in 2004 by Jim Hydock, to build on his experience in providing strategic and high-quality research to help clients make informed decisions.

The firm has extensive network of professional researchers and leaders in the information, internet and publishing industries that can add value to client assignments.

Past and current clients include Ernst & Young, University of California at Berkeley, Mayfield Fund, Morrison & Foerster, and Roche Pharmaceuticals.

About Jim Hydock
Jim Hydock has spent the past 25 years in the information industry, primarily in the fields of business research and electronic publishing.

He was a principal in the firm Cooper Hydock Rugge, a leading information consultancy based in Berkeley, CA and Director of Business Research for Teltech Resource Network, a Minneapolis-based firm that specialized in knowledge management for corporate information centers.

He was Director of Sales/Marketing for Highwire Marketing Group, part of the Highwire Press at Stanford University Library. Most recently he was VP of Business Operations for Classroom Connect, a division of Harcourt Education, and a leading online provider of educational curriculum and professional development.

He is currently an Affiliate Consultant for Outsell, Inc. the leading research and advisory firm focused on the publishing and information industries, as part of Outsell's global Custom Research and Consulting team.
